Liz and staff will discuss, Banks’ road to success. Gale Banks Engineering is home to Banks Power, an exciting, innovative designer and manufacturer of performance equipment for gas and diesel vehicles, as well as Banks Tech, the exclusive engine supplier to the U.S. Army’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Program.
Since the 1960s, Gale Banks’ futuristic high-performance engines have set world records on land and sea, several of which remain unchallenged today. Banks Power is still the only company to have set records at Bonneville in both automobile and truck classes. Gale’s fundamental principles combine old-fashioned business ethics and service with leading technology, elegantly engineered products with superior construction and scientifically proven performance. These kick-ass parts, along with an impressive feed of educational content, have earned the company over one million fans across major social media platforms.
Never resting, the company has its sights set on the future of propulsion. Beginning in 2022, Gale Banks Engineering began developing a hybrid variation of the HMMWV in conjunction with the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). Leveraging the team’s vast experience in developing and producing engines for defense, it seemed a natural fit to apply their expertise by electrifying the U.S. military. The company is following up with a series of consumer-oriented hybrid gas and diesel power plants.
